Hosting & Domain Policy
1. Renewal Responsibility
The client is primarily responsible for the timely renewal of domain names and hosting plans to prevent service interruption.
- Renewal notices are sent 30 days before expiry.
- Failure to renew within the grace period may result in domain loss or data deletion.
- Global IT Solutions is not liable for domains lost due to late client payments.
2. Third-Party Hosting
When using third-party hosting providers (e.g., AWS, Bluehost), Global IT Solutions acts only as a technical intermediary.
- We are not liable for server-side outages or hardware failures.
- Security breaches on third-party servers are outside our direct control.
- Clients must adhere to the Terms of Service of their chosen hosting provider.
3. Data Loss Disclaimer
We strongly recommend regular backups of all website data. While we implement security measures, we do not guarantee against all forms of data loss.
Global IT Solutions is not responsible for data loss resulting from hosting expiration, hacking, or server failures beyond our managed environment.
4. Migration Services
Assistance with migrating a website to a new hosting provider is considered a separate billable service unless otherwise stated in the project agreement.
