Third-Party Software Policy
1. Use of Third-Party Software
To provide feature-rich solutions, we often integrate third-party software, including plugins, themes, APIs, and cloud services.
- Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress, Strapi).
- Functional Plugins & Themes (e.g., Elementor, WooCommerce).
- Third-Party APIs (e.g., Google Maps, Stripe, WhatsApp API).
- Infrastructure Services (e.g., Cloudflare, AWS, DigitalOcean).
2. Liability Disclaimer
Global IT Solutions acts as an integrator of these services but does not own or control them.
We are not liable for any failures, downtimes, data breaches, or loss of functionality caused by third-party software or service providers.
3. Updates & Compatibility
Third-party software providers frequently release updates that may impact your project's functionality.
- We are not responsible for site breaks caused by automatic third-party updates.
- Fixing compatibility issues arising from new software versions is considered 'New Work' unless covered by a maintenance plan.
- We recommend managed maintenance to ensure safe, tested updates of all components.
4. Licensing & Subscriptions
Ongoing costs for premium third-party tools are the responsibility of the client.
- Clients must maintain active subscriptions for premium themes/plugins.
- Expired licenses may lead to security vulnerabilities or loss of features.
- We assist in procurement but do not cover these recurring operational costs.
5. Security & Vulnerabilities
While we choose reputable software, all software is subject to potential vulnerabilities.
- We follow best practices to secure third-party integrations.
- We are not liable for 'Zero-Day' exploits or breaches in third-party code.
- Emergency patching for third-party vulnerabilities is billed separately.
